A Shantybellum Milestone

Wow folks. We've reached a milestone. We've had over 1,000 guests from 20 countries.  We enjoy airbnb so much and they provide such wonderful help to us with our guests.  We now have Shanty Bellum and Shanty Bellum Too on airbnb. 

We will soon add Shanty Bellum Juke Joint, our latest venture. Before we add it to airbnb we're looking at the possibility of renting it long term.

Shantybellum Too Invites You

It's been nearly eleven years since Shantybellum Guesthouse opened.  And it suddenly dawned on me that I've never posted about our newest guesthouse:  Shantybellum Too!  It's half a block from the bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi River, and only a one-block walk to Steampunk Coffee Roasters and Natchez's newest Blues Club, Smoot's Grocery on the bluff.

Downtown Natchez is a short walk where you can shop, eat at fine restaurants or visit the historic homes and landmarks that make Natchez one of the best small-town tourist destinations in the country.

Our Guests Say the Nicest Things

Shantybellum is once again in the B-and-B bidness.  We've had such great responses from our guests that we're now a five-star listing on Airbnb.  But my favorite is when someone artistic decides to leave us a drawing!
